Below you will find a list of my qualifications that have equipped me to be the best full spectrum doula I can be. I believe it’s of equal importance to speak on my philosophy surrounding birth, postpartum, and beyond.

My most important role as a birth and postpartum doula is to empower my clients to make informed decisions that are right for their unique journey. I do this through educating my clients on the topics that are most important to them and advocating for their choices during pregnancy, delivery, and the postpartum period.

I want to plainly state that I am an ally to the LGBTQ community, and I love that my work allows me to partner with every kind of growing family. If you or your partner identify as LGBTQ, know that I will always listen intentionally to your questions and advocate for your needs.

What are the benefits of a Doula?

The benefits of having a doula helps to reduce anxiety and stress. It helps the mother to have positive post birth experience. The doula is there for emotional and physical support. The doula monitors for potential after birth complications. All these benefits allow the mother to regain her strength and confidence thus making her happy and comfortable during this emotional journey. A doula thrives in getting the mother in the right headspace to integrate other aspects into her everyday life as she heals thus leading to better outcomes for herself and the household.
